Status Updates From Otherworld: The Isle of Mist

Still very fun but I'm half convinced this is an advance reader's copy because of the sheer amount of typographical errors.

This isn't perfect, but it's FUN. Especially given how well I know the Isle of Man and its folklore at this point-- I keep excitedly pointing out new references to Manx history and mythology, all delightfully woven into a fairly standard but endearing hero's journey narrative. The writing is easy to read without being boring or basic. It's got a droll tone, not unlike Lemony Snicket plus the better parts of HP.
