Yep, looks like the Trimark plot points have been eschewed in favor of the fae plot elements. I can see where these could potential be intertwined, but there wasn't that much development for this, to be honest.

I like the book but it's all over the place and Trimarks are barely mentioned. Has that plot thread been completely abandoned? In any case, I feel that Allie accomplishes things way too easily here.

OK. Two things. 1) Why is it that NOBODY in this series can stay with a guy? Seriously, I'm getting irritated that everyone breaks up at the beginning of each book. 2) If you don't want to lead a guy on, DON'T KISS HIM. Especially not on the lips. No wonder guys say us girls are confusing as heck. Seriously, bad idea and unless this is going to come and bite Allie on the ass later, it was stupid to include it.
