Status Updates From Savage Atonement

This might be one book I can't finish. The H is just a horribly arrogant man. He has no clue what a person needs to heal. He has decided she needs to be "fixed" no matter what. Ugh terrible human.

So the H has decided he doesn't like the way that the h dresses. Doing exactly what the creep step-father's attorney did to her. So far I just want to burn the book. Arrogant asshole H is just terrible.

Man, is this book dated. The sexism is off the charts.

Hero:

I feel guilty for traumatizing you when you were a vulnerable teenager and I realize you have serious issues regarding sex because of what you went through so I'm going to teach you that sex is actually pretty nice even if you don't want me to because my quilt is more important than your trauma.

- is attracted to a 15 yo assault victim
- thinks 90% of rapists were "lead on"
- took advantage of a child in a vulnerable state of mind and twisted it to further his career
- is A REALLY BIG STUPID POOPY HEAD

Hero is:

- a rape apologist
- a victim blamer
- an unethical reporter
- a great big poopy head

We're getting lots of backstory on how the h and H met. It's gross.

Oh, this is truly an icky one. The victim blaming in this is sickening.

So the equivalent of a school principal just gave a 14 yo victim of sexual assault a pelvic exam in her office to see if she is still a virgin. No wonder the heroine in this story is so messed up. I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those magical healing penis reads, too. :/
