Status Updates From On the Road

I wish there wasn’t a character limit for a progress update. I’m probably not going to finish this book but I have a lot of complaints about it. In short: Through Kerouac I’ve learned that the Beat generation were performative male prototypes; ie pretended to respect women and felt entitled to sex in return. Reminds me so much of a deplorable classmate that I don’t think I can finish it. Like actually uncanny
