Just finished the first part I cannot put this book down,so interesting it doesn’t feel like I’m reading a book about anything to do with medicine. The first part tells you mainly about the authors life (female black physician) and her mother. It also informs you a lot about our countries history of unfair treatment towards black patients and the bias’s we’ve learned in school that aren’t really true
