I was wrong; Kotori covers half the cover of my edition. But the image is vaguely blurry, so I still don't care for it.
Anyway, this is definitely better than the previous two-- Stuff is happening, more characters introduced, Fuuma coming into play. Still can't say I'm that fond of it, though.

This is the first X/1999 volume I own where the binding doesn't crack open at the beginning and the end! So that's nice.
The trade-off is that apparently someone (hopefully me) got a bunch of weird spots on the back cover. Thanks, past self. I guess I should wash this off now.
Also, I hate this cover, for what's it's worth. Maybe if Kotori covered the whole thing instead of just a weird fourth of it?
