Status Updates From Balzac et la petite tailleu...

I first read this book in 2013 and gave it 5 stars. I have just re-read it in 2026, and I couldn’t remember the story. I think because the first time I read it, I ploughed through it in a day. This time I savoured it over a week, taking in and thinking carefully about each chapter. I still will give it 5 stars. But I am sure I will remember this gem of a story in future.
