Status Updates From The Monarch

That is a fantastic page turner. I actually could not put the book down, except for the sleep in between the last update and this one. There are a bunch of typos run amok in the book, but those don't really get in the way of a fantastic plot line.

This book is well written and easy to read. I like the little gems of setting description such as the "heavy camel colored drapes" rather than just saying that they were brown or tan. Some of the situations seem a bit fantastic {such as the dialogue a murder witness is allowed to have with a member of the press, even with the interviewing detective sitting right there}, but were necessary to advance the plot.
