That's a patronizing hotel. But I guess someone has to try telling the reader how Aggie is being totes brave by walking around people-watching Glasgow at all hours for a month. And I'm sure that a nice hotel in a major city had neeeever had young lady guests do such crazy things before! Heroine so speshul.

Aggie: "You dream your way here." Charlie: "No, I'm no dream." A page later: Charlie: "I can be warm, even as a dream." Aggie: "No, don't keep calling yourself a dream!" Ugh. You started it, Aggie. How did neither author nor editor notice this hypocritical inconsistency that is, like, literally a page apart? Maybe less; it's hard to tell in ebook form.

Also, "Different was never ugly." Sweet aphorism, falls apart like cotton candy in a swimming pool after a moment of thought.

Actually, Charlie did not describe himself as ugly. Just different, not human, etc.

He doesn't have eyes to close as a projection-- okay, but can he also not turn around?

No "special" people have ever gotten a degree in psychology or psychiatry then? D&S boss couldn't pay an employee to do so? Sounds like it'd be in their collective best interest.

Passed over Oregon in a day. Pow. I guess the author had a bad experience with some Oregonians?

"...what was considered normal vastly outweighed its opposite..." Yes. Normal being relative, the majority situation is considered the norm. Good job.
