...What? That wasn't a short story. That read more like the prologue to a novel. I mean, if it was a prologue to a novel or something, I'd be super-into it, but that's IT? WHAT? Seriously, what the hell is wrong with this book??

Wow, that was an interesting story. Read kind of like a fable or fairy tale. I liked it.

That was a really interesting story, told in a really interesting format. The only downside is, the "handwriting" of the character is in cursive so it's really hard to read.

That was an interesting story for a change, but I feel like it's unfinished. We don't actually get any answers or anything and I'm left very unsatisfied.

Huh. That wasn't really a ghost story. It didn't even have a proper conclusion or anything.

...
Now we're getting into ghost stories. I really don't enjoy those for multiple reasons.

I'm starting to feel really stupid because I'm not understanding the themes or imagery in this book... that story felt like it was missing so much content.

Well, if that wasn't the biggest effing deus ex machina ever...

Okay, so the entire first section was stories of the March 11th disaster, so I thought that the next one would also focus on that but just with a friendship theme. Didn't realize this section would instead be stories inspired by WWII and Pearl Harbor. Don't mean to sound insulting, but I'm less interested in that than March 11th. This one was written all in prose, and I had a harder time connecting to the characters.
