Um. When was the last time you've made even one singular dollar in interest. I'll wait...

"You're not broke because you aren't getting paid enough. You're broke because of unnecessary spending." Oh sure so you're telling me wages have gone up proportionate to inflation? ... I didn't think so

And I have no respect for a books that uses "zillions" unironically when there's not even a character talking

You know what else is fun??? TELLING TEENS TO PUT OTHER PEOPLE FIRST, BEFORE GOD

You know what's fun? GUILT TRIPPING TEENAGERS BECAUSE THEY AREN'T LOVING TO A DIVINE EXTENT

How to be content? Be patient. Be thankful. 🙄 Like I haven't thought of that.
[School book and I hate it]

Maybe this is because I'm a genius or maybe I'm not far enough into the book, but it feels suuuuper basic. (Take the section on managing your time, for example. If you just asked me to explain time management, I would have written something more profound.) It says it's for teens but if you grew up in the church/around these principles it's not engaging past about age 10.
