Status Updates From On Poetry

Was suspect of this book when each of the four blurbs on the jacket were written by men. So far I read the first chapter and every single poet referenced has been a dead white man, that is, other than Emily Dickinson. How white men poets love to reference ol’ Em D so as to feel diverse in their teachings. I don’t have high hopes for the rest of this book. I’m feeling inspired to write my own.
