Status Updates From Sense and Sensibility: The ...

There's some sweet moments and lines that didn't make it into the final cut of the movie, like Elinor saying: "There is a painful difference between the expectation of an unpleasant event and it's final certainty". And also her mom apologizing for neglecting her 😭😭😭

I know this movie so well that I can tell exactly what bits of the script they cut for time / budget. It is also a really beautifully written script.

I love that the producer's introduction mentions Ang Lee's 'Eat Drink Man Woman', which was just an excellent film and when I saw it I understood why they chose him to direct this adaptation. That he responded to the script by saying: 'I want this film to break people's hearts so badly that they'll still be recovering from it two months later' is such a good tidbit!!
