Not my FAVORITE BN (mainly, because it took them too long to work things out and along the way, we were subjected to the H's derisive, unkind thoughts about the h, right up until he mistakenly thought she was engaged, at which point he decided he loved her (a little fickle, what?), but cute and enjoyable in spite of that, as all BN's are. 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

I'm loving it so far! Classic Betty Neels, with a wonderful, kind, plain-Jane nurse and light eyed rich Dutch anaesthetist. She's almost completely in love with him, he's barely noticing her, but finds himself doing things for her involuntarily. And little Marc is such a darling! He makes the story sweeter. And I love the pediatric ward twist to this story.
