Status Updates From The Night of the Generals

Had to stop reading because it’s so unbelievably BORING! I tried to get into the one dimensional, one setting vibe but it just wasn’t a book I was excited by. The blurb suggests it’s a murder mystery-esque book, based in the Nazi era and perhaps some discussion of the role of prostitutues in WW2 but it essentially opens with ‘well this woman was murdered lol let’s have a few dinner parties’.
