It’s Chapter 5 and I just realized that all the chapter headers were for broadway songs, not just the “Modern Major General” at the beginning. I recognized the “Officer Kruppkr” parody immediately, and I had to read through the entire bit with the music playing in my head, which included waiting as the musical interludes between verses.
