I have to return this to the library but will take it out again.

I borrowed this book because I wanted to know about what I could find in our local forests. I enjoy learning about the flora and fauna of different habitats. Living in NC, now, I have discovered new birds, spiders, bugs, flowers, mosses, and mushrooms, to be add to my field guide lists.

My interest in this book comes from my husband's lifelong love of the forests, its animal and floral, and the wonders of the symbiont relationship between the two. I look for books that have a lot of good color photographs to help me identify what we see and find.
