Status Updates From The Shapeshifter's Secret (...

As the book comes to an end, it put me in tears knowing that after the fight Julia and the guild got into. Her mother running from the scene and the guild split through out the area, Terrance and Julia were as happy as ever and Julia will get to see him over the summer. As well as Gabe and Serra. The ending was a perfect ending and I can’t wait to read the next book

Julia had begged her father to let her go shopping for her friends for Christmas gifts. Her and her father saw a siren and had to leave immediately in order to avoid the guild. Christmas cake and Julia have everyone their gifts. After that, though she was the one who snuck into the ballroom, some other boy confessed to it and she wonders if the guild forced them to or if they had something to do with it.

Julia snuck into the hall and found the “s” she was looking for, but a shadow figure and noises around her made her flee, as she saw the shadow behind her as she left the dining room. Her father, Liam, and Caleb all came home early besides Terrance, he volunteered for an extra mission and will be home for dinner. Julia is made to wear a special dress made of special fabric that was shined and fit her perfectly.

Julia finds out her father, uncle and Caleb will all be home for Christmas, especially Terrance. She starts wondering about why her mother was standing near a wall that has an “s” on it. She gathers more information and she finally brings her self to decide she is going to sneak into the ball room in order to see where her mother was standing.

As Julia sneaks out with Terrance and they fall in love an kiss, Julia learns some basics on how to transform. But she also gets in trouble with her teacher about wandering off with a boy. He tells head of the castle/ principle an he gave her leniency about it saying she’s just a normal teenager.

As Julia gets used to the school and Serra is with her most of the day besides when they go to transformation classes to learn how to transform into their own animals, Julia starts finding a like in Terrance and vise versa. I’m happy about this because this is a romantic type of book and I love when people like each other.

As Julia learns more and more about the secret place called Ossain and it sounds like a beautiful place to be apart of. I’m happy that Julia and Serra are living in the same dorm together as they will soon be taking classes and learning on how to transform into their animals. Ossain seems to be nicer than the normal world around us today.

So much action I love it! The chasing scene with the police and the secret world in the portal is so amazing! I can’t wait to read the second book already.

The way that she hallucinated about her house being destroyed and torn apart, only to find that it wasn’t real, is another thing about this book that I like. It can get pretty messy within the book and those are the kinds of books I love to read,twisted an messed up,which this book shows a little bit of.

So far, I feel that the book got off to a good start. The fact that there was rage and intense feelings within the first 13 pages of the book, I loved. I can’t wait to see what’s next in the 2nd chapter.
