Finished the first day of events of the Andromeda Strain where Major Mulchek, Lieutenant Comrie & Jaggers uncover some deadly information about the strain, and surprising photos come in from the air force, causing Milchek to declare a State Of Emergency.

This is a scientifically fascinating study about viruses from the mind behind Jurassic Park. I do appreciate the research that went into making the book.

We have started our mission into the Andromeda Strain, where are are settled into the first day of the outbreak: where lieutenants Shawn & Crane discover an unsettling site in Piedmont, notifying lieutenant Edgar Conroe in the process.

Now this is how you start off an “infection” storyline, as we have the little calm before the storm, thanks to Michael Crichton’s use of mood, gearing us up for the action.
