Status Updates From Dire Warning (Eternal Wolf ...

I liked this short Valentine's Day mystery in Stephanie Tyler's Eternal Wolf Clan series. My only complaint is that the eSpecial is listed as a prequel, so I was expecting a bit more info on the Dire wolves. It would've been nice to learn how they found each other or what happened to the others, etc. But, I am interested enough to continue on with the series.

This is a short novella into Stephanie Tyler's world of the Dire Wolves. We are intoducted to the Dire Wolves and the were twins under their charge and care: Rifter, Vice, Jinx & Rogue (twins), Stray, Cain and Cyd. The world Ms. Tyler has created is explained and understanding places you into the heart of the story. We are also introduced to Marley, and her acceptance of her gift, and how best to help those in need.

Uhm wait, author said that twins Cyd and Cain are regular Weres taken in by Jinx after they were kicked out of their pack; basically for being out of control during a full moon. Now I'm reading a passage saying they're Alphas but didn't S.T. also say they're youngsters????? Whaaaa????? This novella is becoming more and more confusing ; (.

New book series. Always a learning curve with new ideas, characters, and world building. Must admit it's a little confusing at the moment.
