here's the thing. its a good book but that is NOT miss jane eyre. everything that makes jane who she is as a person has been changed and ripped away. no longer humble, modest, well mannered, a caged bird, and all knowing. this jane is shy, dim, stuttering, but snappish, and "has been many places."
