How could she be more stupid? Oh my god. I can't stop laughing at the stupitity of this entire story. It's dropped down to a one star in my review. She went out with an unknown dangerous man even though she'd been warned against him. But she didn't heed the advise just so she could make the guy jealous. God I hate books like this.

She just asked Mason if he'd known Bishop for long. Wasn't it earlier that he told her he knew Bishop for twenty or so years... this has got to be self publushed.

This is just another Tell and not live up to the words by showing. For being once a nerd, she sure is dumb. She just learned how to compel humans to do her will. So when going to a diner she says she'll have to SPLURGE on cab fare. Can't she just compel the drive to judt take her? Can you say PLOT WHOLE.

Hey at 63% they finally kissed. Not a really intensial kiss. But one none the less... why am I reading this again? Even better, why haven't I stopped. Getting to the last of my will power here folks. So I've noticed yhe word FrAk now. I'm guessing this is suppose to mean Fuck? Again... this is not the free DARK paranormal book I'd elected to get. Talk about misleading in every way.

And why is it always, "I'll have a couple of beers?" Like there's only one type of beer in the world. Not Budlight, Miller Light, or even Budweiser. Just random couple of beers. Have I missed something here?

Also, I thought this was suppose to be dark. It's not so much of anything but vanillia with the side of nothing sexually. I might as well be reading a PG-13 teen novel by R.L. Stein.

Okay, what's with all the raising glasses every time someone drinks? And why is it always a zillion times with this author. Couldn't millions or gazillion- since we are talking about an undefined number here? Why always a zillion? Just a thought.

It all was going good until Mrs. Thing here had to go all clingy. What happened to her college classes? Other things she had responsibilities to? I get she's just been turned but the guy told her to leave. He did his part - illegally, and she needed to go. She promised that she would. But here we are again, not doing a damn thing she promised she'd do. CLINGY. If she starts whinning, I'm out of here.

Imagine yourself waking up in the morgue, pronounced dead over an hour ago with no recollection how you got there or what you were wearing! Lisa Olsen's prose is fast paced and intriguing.

This book has a great mysterious start...

I like the premise of this book, but the plot, if there is one, is really dragging. The main characters are both annoying. Anja appears implausibly immature and lacking in depth. Bishop is good looking and intelligent, but shallow and apparently a coward. I'm not even sure why I'm still reading, but I keep hoping something is about to happen.
