finally we're at the school.
but standing up in front of class and saying something about yourself is the WORST torture a teacher can do! Why do they still do this?!?!?!?

okay, over 50 pages of packing. I hope this gets better soon

More than a quarter finished and still zero progress. I feel like this is a DNF, which bothers me bc I want to like it. It's just taking too long to get wherever it is that it is going.

I really wish the first 30% of this book was condensed... It was long!

IDK. So far there is a lot of talk and set-up. For me, it's dragging. School, home, dinner with parent, sleep, repeat. By now, I feel like this family should have been moved into their new home. I had high hopes for this story, but they are dwindling fast. If it doesn't pick up soon, it may have to be a dnf. For the record, I really hope it doesn't end that way, but we shall see. Hanging in there!

So far, I know she wakes up, has breakfast, goes to school, has lunch, comes home, has dinner, does homework, goes to bed and does it all over again...every day.
