So far, I am pleasantly surprised by this book! I have read a few Mermaid books that were simply rip offs of 'The Little Mermaid'...this one (so far) isn't...and it is GOOD! I may actually have to put a YA author on my authors to follow list! High praise so far for this book! High praise indeed!

I must confess I'm surprised at just how much I'm enjoying this book. It looked pretty good, but I'm now having to fight my 6 year-old to take my kindle back so I can do more reading!

Wow, this is bad. I cannot go on reading although the story has hardly started. A shy outsidee, cinderella-like orphan prone to fainting, a teacher with a secret, a brooding, condescending guy with eyes that change color. *barf*
