Jed is incompacitated. Brown is not the new doctor.

Jed gets sent to the hospital. Sasha goes to check on him, gets called for an emergency motion while she’s there at the hospital. Certainly suspicious of the quick resolution pace.

Jared stock meets Jon Connelly. They have dinner at Sasha’s

Agent Stock, now she’s dealing with the FBI.

A break in occurs while Sasha and Leo are at the late judges house. They suspect it’s the sheriff. Then defendant lawyer tells Sasha they’ve made an irreparable discourse in the case and Sasha thinks it over.

The judges office gets robbed while Sasha is in the other room. Leo makes it and they have dinner with the judges. There’s a target being thought of and we start chapter 19

Sasha gets put up at the judges old apartment. She learns about the land that Jay Caybill has and why the gas and fracking company wants his land. Leo drops everything he’s doing back at home and gets Sasha everything she needs for an extended stay.

Sasha get chosen to head the prosecution case of the murdered judge Paulson.

Sasha meets with Jed, has a convo about being anti fracking. Then they find out Judge Paulson has been shot dead.

Evening with Leo, Doc is going to go on a visit to Craybill. For some reason it sounds like a set up. Then the vitamix lawyer is acting strange. Its Friday and moving on to chapter 12

Sasha goes to a doctor and asks questions about requirements to determine incapacity. Asks to testify. Starting chapter 10

Finished chapter 8 with Sasha coming home to dinner with Leo Connelly! The guy from book 1! The detective, honestly at the beginning of the book I didn’t know if the author was going to keep him around, but it looks like they are together for awhile! Starting chapter 9

The aging case with the old man is on. Now oil and gas company is being talked about and hydrofracting. I bet the oil companies go after Sasha. Hippys have already attacked her.
