Status Updates From Greenwillow

What a charming little tale! I found this in a Little Free Library, and since it matched my bedroom decor, I nabbed it as kind of a bedside table accessory. I've had it for several years and am just now getting around to reading it. Apparently it was quite well known in its time, so I have to ask my mother if she read it decades ago!

3/9/25 A little over halfway through this and I just want to say— I’m really surprised at how much I’m loving this so far?? I picked this up from intense curiosity after discovering the Loesser musical adaptation. The premise sounded silly and dated and I feared this would be a chore. “Something to read on the side” I told myself. Two chapters in and I went head over heels. I don’t want this book to end!!
