reading this before all the pages yellow and wither away, it’s been on my bookshelf for years. i think i am just not a fan of petit bourgeois individualism that most french writers seem to be afflicted by, and perhaps this would be more interesting if it wasn’t sartre.

boredom is a privilege

reading this only bec it’s been on my shelf for years, i want to finish reading it before all the pages yellow and wither away. i am not enjoying it. i think i really don’t care for petit bourgeois individualistic ennui, which most french writers seem afflicted by. there are real problems in the world and feeling like there is something wrong with you when nothing’s wrong makes you an annoying person.
