So interesting but still annoyed by its/his calling neurotypicals and those without synesthesia “normal” and using the outdated false hypothesis that people with autism have a lack of empathy making them seem villainous and akin to a psychopath. Booo. It’s a shame because it’s such a good and educational book but I won’t give it 5/5 when I finish because of how much updating it needs not to be problematic.

Clearly a bit outdated, though very interesting. Lots of fascinating anecdotes for sure.
