Status Updates From I Have No Mouth and I Must ...

Now I'm at the section where J. Michel Straczynski feeds "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" into ChatGPT and asks for its opinions on the contents of the book. This is pretty silly, seeing as ChatGPT is programmed to tell you want it thinks you want to hear(it's call AI sycophancy), and so you'll never get a genuine response from it because it doesn't THINK anything or have opinions. It's a robot.

So, I finished the brief memoir section where Ellison talks about the choices he made in the story. It's a very interesting read. Ellison comes off as both endearing and incredibly insufferable. I don't know what to think of him. If I'm being honest, I think I enjoyed reading this short mini-memoir of the creation of the story more than I enjoyed reading the actual short story.
