Less than 50 pages to go. As simplistic as it is, Danny's story is the most gripping. Definitely going to be reading the rest of the series. And, any other Lazellari I can get my hands on, most likely.

I'm loving these descriptions of how Colby is feeling, and the details of him risking bleeding out from a simple shave. It should make for some great motivation for him to act as foil later. I see why this series was originally called Coldheart.

Man, that last chapter was a punch to the gut. No pun intended. I suspect there are better things coming for Danny, but things aren't great.

This is off to a crazy good start. The author seems to know how to lead a reader along.
