This guy seems to have forgotten the point of his book. His examples include stories of how highly successful people got prestigious jobs. But there is (at least so far) no evidence that these people actually enjoy these jobs more than anybody else.

In the example of the VC guy, he says “this guy loves his job,” then moves along as if that’s evidence.
