I was already very in on this book after reading and absolutely loving The Art of Simple Food, but ch. 1, “Fragrant and Beautiful” (herbs) refers to a restaurant portrayed in the wonderful Frederick Wiseman documentary “Menus-Plaisirs, les Troisgros” and so far this book has a lovely confluence of a variety of things I have loved in my life. Kitchens, gardens, the occasional fancy restaurant, care in general.
