Status Updates From Red Leaves and the Living T...

The story is in full swing now. Characters are racing around and the suspense, the mystery is building. Going into another country and helped understand the world and races a bit better, which has helped my visualization a bit. I still wish it had more though. Still defaulting to seeing humans in my mind sometimes. The glossary in the back is helpful. I'm hooked in but still feels like something is missing.

I'm interested in the story so far. The characters act emotionally and realistically enough. There is major lacking in describing the characters. I'm having such a hard time making a mental picture. The most helpful thing to visualizing what they look like is the cover, but then the cover brings up more questions that answers. Yeah, I'm liking it okay story wise but it's difficult really getting into because of this.

Ok so....Valance is not as bad of a guy as we thought, but the Botons are? I thought Valance was the bad guy, the Botons just want the Token back.
