Ok So I finished this book and started the second, and it took a huge left turn. The book is almost entirely about the relationships between all the royals. Who's sleeping with who, even though they're married to someone else. To bad really the book had a great, fresh take on the whole magic theory

Ok so the writing is better when the characters are in conversations, which is more frequent now that I'm into the story more.

This book has a great plot,and theme, but the writing is atrocious. It's too bad really, if written by a better author or a better editor it would be a really good book
