Status Updates From The Mistress / Wanted: Mist...

Finished "The Mistress" by Maya Banks... quite compelling. Pulls you in immediately and you could easily get through it in one sitting. Well told.

Onto the second novella...

Marley and Chrysander continue to grow closer, in spite of the questions of the past... and then the evil Roslyn intrudes into their lives once more... I'm looking forward to her comeuppance, one of these days

Now moved to the privately owned island... Marley still doesn't recall much at all, and continues to be plagued by Chrysander's rapid flipping between hot and cold emotions toward her... all she does know is that she does NOT like his personal assistant, what she wears, where she shows up and when...

So far, Marley has found out that she means no more to her lover than to be considered his mistress... that she is pregnant... and that he believes her to be the undercover corporate saboteur to his hotel empire... for which she walks away and it taken captive, only to be found months later, without any memory except of her first name... now her lover has claimed her, at the hospital...
