Genre: The Genre of the book is realistic fiction. I know this because the book is around a seventh grade boy (Greg) and his daily life which is mostly normal. The reason it is realistic fiction and not non-fiction is due to the adventures being completely made up by the author(Jeff Kinley). Ultimately this book is realistic fiction because the story could happen but was completely made up by the author.

Predictions: My prediction is that Mr.Jefferson will take Greg and Rowley to the boardwalk. I think this is blatantly obvious that Greg is getting tired of being in the cabin for so long by the things he is doing. For example Greg sneaks on to Mr.Jefferson's computer in an attempt to clench his urge of social interaction. This evidence leads me to believe that Mr.Jefferson is going to take the boys to the board walk.
