Kinda slows down at Baba's cabin to an almost dreamy, sluggish pace. But at the same time, even as they linger there, stuff actively happens and moves forward. I am in loooove with Night. I would be happy if Hettie just smooches him for the rest of the book. Teehee. Less impressed by the Henry-Baba attraction and constant "old man has needs" mentions. The reaper too was a nice development to plot.

Holy moley! This was a fun treat to find! Very to the point yet entertaining delivery, likable characters and utterly fascinating story! Hide Behinds! The zombies that act like bogeymen! I love it!
