So many inaccuracies just in the Forward, dang. Changing the children's' names I can understand. Saying the kids and George "became good friends very quickly." not so much.
Then on to chapter 1, the kids keep calling him Daddy. Watch the "My Amityville Horror" documentary to disprove both.
End of chapter 2, they leave the house w/ "no stops that night" to East Babylon, NY. According to Google, a 20 minute drive?
