Will finish this if it kills me

Again, this is a hard read, but in terms of pure grasp of the subject matter, the way he works with the sources we have makes this probably one of the best history books I've read, even if it's a slog at times

Its slow going but I will finish this

Not by any stretch of the imagination an easy read, but something incredibly impressive about the explanations for how he determines things. So very clearly the culmination of a life's work
