The opening line is terrible, and the second line makes me feel embarrassed on behalf of the author. I'm not the type to DNF unless it's for a REALLY good reason, but this one had my finger hovering over the X for a solid minute while I weighed my options. I saw the movie and I was intrigued about the novel, but the writing is Twilight without the cult following aspects that make it bearable. Cat vomit? Really?
