Trying to read a page a day. Not doing very good. I have to keep in mind that the editor is a hard left wing person who probably voted for Democrats all his life and then ventured back to his penthouse guarded by a 24 hour doorman with a baseball bat.

Trying to read a page a day. Really dry stuff. Like a text book and like I've stated earlier, most from a politically hard Left view of things.

Lot of stuff about Freud's techniques, assumptions etc., that I understand, have been strongly disputed and/or disproven. Having been 'under analysis' since 1957, I have a little more understanding of these things than most readers. Also, I note that many of the subjects are from the far left of the political spectrum, with the writer, naturally, assuming his voice is the only one.

Been a few years, but I'm back to reading 'The Bedside Baccalaureate.' The one-page daily factoids, even though heavily leaning to the political left, are informative and will help with my other book, the crosswords one.
