Gigante is arrested on Rico charges, Rita discovers in the news that he had another wife and three children. She finds the life and work he has been involved in.

Rita learned more as her father faked mental illness and two major crime bosses were killed on her father's orders due to major screwups. Rita herself developed OCD and anxiety around age 9 and realized she was gay as a teen. She was able to get mental heath treatment but her family rejected her sexuality.

Riga Gigante, daughter of Vincent Gigante, the boss of the Gigante family in New York and head of all five families grows up not learning of her father's career until high school at a Catholic high school where most knew family.
