Enjoying!! Wouldn’t recommend though as an introduction to the history, because most of the text presents historical moments briefly. It’s mostly a book challenging revisionist ideologies surrounding Armenian history and nationalism

Taking a break from my books to focus on reading as much Armenian literature during Armenian Genocide Awareness Month. I read this in college but I want to refresh on the details of my history. This book is incredible because it has a diasporic approach from an insider of the community. Talks about language as a means of identity. Etc etc. the preface made me cry!!
