I can feel all the emotions in this book. They are so true and real. No problem with knife play for a cutter. It's all in learning to manage needs and issues so that they do not destroy life.

I finished the book last night, and I am waiting to get myself under control before I try to compose a review. I am angry and feel betrayed by this book. The fundamental relationship between a Dom and a sub is hugely violated here, and blurred with Master/slave, the use of erotic knife play with a cutter is portrayed as acceptable, and the power exchange so inherent and necessary in a D/s relationship is corrupted.

argh, I can't go on. What-the-f is happening to Sloan???

I'm approaching this with trepidation. I love Ms. Ashling, but I absolutely hated 'Vessel'. Trent made me ill. But I really loved 'Cutting Cords', and want some resolution with Cole. Don't disappoint me. Please.
