"Hey, you know why Betamax never took off...Cause they didn't support triple X flicks."
Since he would now be a civilian, he wanted to know what was going on in the world and who the hot starlets were.

I'm enjoying the story of 3 generations of Italian-Irish-Americans; we're getting to the point where the end of the older generations are overlapping with the beginnings of the younger ones.
There are quite a few typos, grammar & syntax errors, which are irritating. I could do without the detailed descriptions of baseball games, which are just gobbledegook to me. I don't enjoy that level of cricket description!

Been out the past 2 nights - and will be busy this weekend. I shall be looking for opportunities to seek out the book & read. I like the nipping around between the decades. Can't wait to find out what Texas holds

This is such a good read. I only wish I was still unemployed so I could have more reading time available.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story of the three childhood friends and their families. On to Cameron Nation with pleasure!

The first section contained a lot of background information on family members. Needed to digest it, then boom, by the end of section one I was completely hooked. An easy read and will finish very quickly.
