Status Updates From The Death of Grass

Enjoying but marginally bored..

I’m so not a person to hold classics to modern standards and I know it’s probably a realistic depiction of attitudes at the time it was written but i am struggling with the misogyny in this sorryyyy john custance feels like christopher’s hero fantasy the way men on tiktok have started that trend where they fantasise about erasing their existence to save their family instead of just like. doing the dishes maybe

Chilling and very real. Extremely well written. Most scary thing is that it is so, so accurate, the situation, people's behaviour!
