didn’t really like the writing style but how can i ever rate a memoir other than 5 stars? i didn’t “enjoy” it or vibe to it but i felt to it and sometimes its probably the most important thing

as someone who liked the nicely wrapped resolution, im struggling with the ending—the lack of definitive happy end. especially now that i nownshe split up with susie :(
but… yeah. this happened. not helpful for go off but a lot of thoughts and just things to think about here. probably want to buy a physical copy and reread it in a few years.

I've decided that I won't do any math until I've read the last ten pages
I will finish it

this book is very much not what i need for go off, there’s not a lot of trauma on page, but it has some interesting thoughts.
i just don’t always love the language. and how she jumps around a bit. would dnf, honestly, but… i want to support her at the same time. her life was difficult, i get it (mental empathy). so i don’t want to fail her in a way
