First thing I've had a chance to read in a week and I was a bit dubious at first, but now I'm enjoying it. First few pages are awkward and contain my pet peeve of using an adjective where it should be an adverb, so I nearly put it down, but I'm glad I persevered. The explanations are over written at times, but that, like the grammar errors, means it just needs a good edit. Story and characters are engaging.
