Status Updates From Tell me a story

Slow, grim, cynical, and sometimes boring too. I liked her previous book, The sari shop, this one is the story of a girl from a small town. A story about her dreams, aspirations, and the family she calls her own. The book is real in so many parts that sometimes reading it is just difficult. Don't pick it up if tragedy upsets you; there's heaps of it in this book.
