I’m really having a good time with this book! The writing is beautiful and old and witty. It makes me want to read more old writing. It’s exact and specific. I think as we’ve switched to film and digital media, and certainly with AI, we’ve lost skill in writing. Our vocabularies seem to have shrunk, and it has limited our ability to convey meaning or describe with nuance. I like the plot of this book, too.
